Modern Islamic Patterns

The goal of this work is to seek out and exploit opportunities where modern mathematical and technological tools can be brought to bear on the analysis and synthesis of ornamental designs. In this project thesis, a specific method of design was used to form a cozy room to be used as a place to relax in, decorated with Islamic-based patterns.

The Islamic patterns have layers of unseen logic, simplicity, and aesthetics. This study formed based on finding these features. Once it is figured out by manipulating those features we could create a new method of modern design based on traditional works.
